Objective Protecting your investment, as your Captain it is my duty to ensure the yacht is being maintained to the highest possible standards. As the owner you are then free to enjoy time on board with family and friends, safe in the knowledge that every last detail has been taken care of by me and the crew. I take pride in every aspect of my position and go the extra mile to work with guests and crew to create lasting memories. As professional mariner with 26 years experience, from commercial fishing, towing, public charters and tourism to private yachts, it is my desire to continue advancing in the Private Yacht Industry while upgrading my certification. Presently on course for 500 ton certification with MCA.
Skills and Assets My master and navigational experience include areas ranging from Sitka-Alaska to Cabo San Lucas-Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas and Chesapeake Bay with extensive time spent in British Columbian, Alaskan and Mexican waters. I have also taught other mariners in both Canada and the US the Fishing Masters IV and 60 ton Master, 200 ton practical and RIB, VHF courses. Having owned and operated a Yacht Chartering Business for over 7 years, this has enhanced my ability to manage personnel and yacht charter operations, understand and deal appropriately with many situations including staffing and high end clienteles, as well as mechanical and exterior maintenance of a high end charter yacht.
